Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our clients team. This is a hands-on, multi-skilled position involving both electrical and mechanical maintenance in an industrial environment.

Contract Type: 12-week temp-to-perm
Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday Days
Pay Rate: £20.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

Perform maintenance on a range of plant equipment including:

*

Conveyors

*

Electronic Control Panels

*

Motors, Gearboxes & Bearings

*

Vibratory Screeners & Feeders

*

Air Density & Eddy Current Separators

*

Drying Equipment

*

Feed Hoppers

*

Automatic Optical Sorting Equipment

*

Conduct both proactive and reactive maintenance to ensure minimal downtime.

*

Carry out welding (stick and MIG) and fabrication work to a high standard.

*

Follow company Health & Safety procedures, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

*

Work both independently and as part of a team to meet production and efficiency targets.

Requirements / Person Specification

*

Minimum 5 years’ experience in plant fitting and maintenance within an industrial environment.

*

Strong commitment to safe working practices.

*

Multi-skilled background – both Electrical & Mechanical knowledge essential.

*

High standard of design and fabrication skills.

*

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and fabricate accordingly.

*

Strong communication and reporting skills.

*

Self-motivated and capable of working autonomously.

*

Willingness to be trained in Telehandler and MEWP operation.

*

Must provide own small/general-purpose tools (secure storage provided for personal items).
