Are you an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for your next opportunity? We are recruiting on behalf of our client in Louth for a skilled engineer to join their engineering team on a temporary contract.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, where you'll be responsible for keeping production running efficiently through planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs and continuous improvement activities.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and control system faults.
Working closely with production to minimise downtime.
Recording maintenance work using the maintenance management system.
Conducting root cause analysis to reduce recurring breakdowns.
Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures.

What We're Looking For

The successful candidate will have:

Previous experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role within manufacturing.
Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
Experience with PLCs, motors, pumps, pneumatics and hydraulics.
Knowledge of CMMS or maintenance management systems.
Mitsubishi PLC and steam generation experience would be advantageous.
A recognised engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3/4, HNC/HND or equivalent).
17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations. What's on Offer
