The company is a leading UK manufacturer within the window blinds industry, with a strong reputation for design, manufacturing, and innovation. This is a great opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer looking to join a stable business where they can utilise their electrical and mechanical skills across a wide range of plant, machinery, services, and equipment. You will be responsible for maintaining all electrical and mechanical equipment across the site, including services, distribution systems, plant machinery, and miscellaneous equipment, ensuring all work is completed in line with current legislation, company standards, and health and safety requirements. The role will involve both planned and reactive maintenance, electrical and mechanical fault-finding, installation work, portable and fixed appliance testing, and supporting new plant, machinery, equipment, and services installations. You will also have the opportunity to assist with apprentice training, supervise contractors when required, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the maintenance function. Sector – Factory Maintenance Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Multi Skilled Engineer Multi-skilled maintenance experience with a strong electrical bias. Minimum Level 3 electrical qualification. Desirable Requirements for the Multi Skilled Engineer 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification. Experience with portable and fixed appliance testing. Experience using CMMS maintenance systems. Experience within a manufacturing environment. Experience with continuous improvement projects. Previous experience working with contractors. The Multi Skilled Engineer Will Benefit From: Working for a leading UK manufacturing business. A competitive salary of £40,000 – £43,000 per annum, paid weekly. 4% employer pension contribution.
