Are you a skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical background looking for a new challenge in a fast-paced and growing environment? We are currently recruiting for a leading manufacturer in County Durham who are looking to expand their Engineering team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking business offering long-term stability, excellent training opportunities, and a highly competitive salary of up to £45,000.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance on a wide range of production equipment
Quickly diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults
Work closely with production and engineering teams to minimise downtime
Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety and company procedures
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the site
Accurately record all maintenance activity using the CMMS system
About You:
Time-served or qualified in Electrical Engineering (Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, HNC/HND or equivalent)
Strong electrical fault-finding skills (PLCs, sensors, motors, control panels, etc.)
Multi-skilled with some mechanical ability
Experience working in a manufacturing, FMCG, or industrial environment
Comfortable working Panama days & nights (2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off)
Proactive, reliable, and a strong team player
