Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Electrical Bias

• Annual Salary: £45,000 - £48,500

• Job Type: Full-time, Early & Late Shift (6-2, 2-10) no weekends

We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join a team at a leading FMCG manufacturer based in Maidstone. This role involves working on both early and late shifts, providing critical support to ensure the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

• Conduct routine maintenance and testing on manufacturing and packaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and repair electrical problems in industrial equipment, including PLC controlled machinery.
• Implement preventative maintenance measures to minimise equipment downtime and maximize productivity.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns in a timely and efficient manner.
• Work closely with other team members to troubleshoot complex issues and develop solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work performed and parts used.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.

• Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, particularly with an electrical bias, in an FMCG environment.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems used in industrial applications, including PLCs and automation systems.
• Relevant qualifications in electrical or mechanical engineering (HNC, HND, BEng, or equivalent).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work on early and late shifts as required.
