Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Electrical Bias - Night Shift
Location: Preston
Shift: Permanent Nights
Position: Permanent
Salary: From £45k to £55k + OT

We are recruiting an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical Bias to join the engineering team, working a permanent night shift within a busy manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across production machinery
Electrical and mechanical fault finding
Diagnose and repair breakdowns to minimise production downtime
Work with motors, drives, sensors, control panels and automated equipment
PLC fault finding and diagnostics
Carry out PPM schedules and preventative maintenance
Support machinery improvements, installations and upgrades
Maintain accurate engineering and maintenance records
Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with site proceduresSkills & Experience

Electrically biased, multi-skilled maintenance background
Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment
Strong electrical fault-finding skills
Good mechanical maintenance knowledge
Experience with PLCs, motors, drives, sensors and control systems
Ability to work independently during night shifts
Recognised electrical/engineering qualification such as NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC/HND or equivalent
18th Edition would be advantageous
