Prize Placements are looking for an experienced multi skilled engineer, must have electrical and plumbing experience. Our client is one of UK’s leading facilities management company, with their clients range from banks to retailers, hospitals to schools, and critical government sites.

Multi Skilled Shift Engineer - Electrical and Plumbing
Location: Chelsea
Permanent / Full time - 4 on 4 off shift rotation – NO NIGHTS

We're looking for a Multi-Skilled Engineer who will deliver electrical / mechanical and plumbing maintenance (PPM), working as part of a 24/7 shift team to ensure critical buildings remain safe, compliant and fully operational.

Role Responsibilities:

* Execute Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)

* Undertake planned and reactive electrical and mechanical maintenance across a wide range of building services.

* Perform plumbing repairs including leak detection, pipe replacements, fixture maintenance, and drainage issues.

* Work as part of a balanced shift team (electrical, mechanical and plumbing) providing 24‑hour cover based in Chelsea

* Identify plant defects, warning indicators and system faults, taking appropriate corrective actions.

* Maintain and support building services systems including power distribution, motor controls, lighting, standby generators, controls systems, inverters and fire alarm/PA systems.

Qualifications:

* Time‑served in Electrical or Mechanical and/or Plumbing (minimum 3 years)

* City & Guilds Parts 1 & 2 or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical or Mechanical discipline

Desirable:

* City & Guilds Part 3 or NVQ Level 2

* 2391 Inspection & Testing of Electrical Installations

* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
