Multi Skilled Painter and Maintenance Technician

We're currently recruiting for an experienced Carpenter to support fire door maintenance works for a major hospitality client.

This role involves carrying out maintenance and repairs to fire doors, ensuring all work complies with current building regulations and fire safety legislation.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out fire door maintenance and repairs in line with regulations
Assess jobs and prepare quotes covering labour and materials
Liaise with clients and confidently explain technical requirements
Certify completed work and provide accurate documentation
Maintain clear job records and support query resolution for invoicing

Requirements

NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry
Proven experience in carpentry and maintenance
Strong knowledge of fire door legislation and certification
Good communication and organisational skills
Comfortable using systems and maintaining accurate records
