About the Company

Due to an exciting period of growth, we're working with a fantastic FMCG business and are looking for a Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer to support in providing efficient and effective support across the factory.

The successful candidate will have proven experience within a fast paced FMCG environment and will play an integral role in the effective delivery of proactive, planned, preventative engineering maintenance in order to ensure all equipment is able to meet demand and efficiency targets.

The hours of work are continental, 12 hour shifts on a rotating days/nights pattern.

Multi Skilled Shift Engineer - Responsibilities & Requirements

• Must have proven experience within an FMCG environment
• Must be qualified electrically or mechanically, or time served
• Providing effective delivery of any reactive engineering maintenance required in order to minimise machine downtime
• Strong communication skills in order to build, develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
• Working collaboratively with teams across the site
• Delivery of proactive, planned-preventative engineering maintenance to ensure all existing equipment is able to meet capacity demand and efficiency targets
• Must be able to identify and deliver against various opportunities to implement engineering changes
• A consistent focus on how continuous improvement projects can be utilised in order to maximise plant efficiencies and optimisation
• Ensuring the highest engineering audit standards at all times
• Planning and Monitoring machine performance
• Will possess a proven desire to progress and develop further
• Must have a postive attitude and energy!
