Multi Skilled Technician – Electrical Bias

Location: Woking, GU21
Salary: Up to £44,000
Hours: Monday to Friday – 6am–2pm / 8am–5pm / 2pm–10pm rotating shifts

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Multi Skilled Technician with an Electrical Bias to join a large onsite engineering team at a high-profile motorsport and technology facility in Woking.

This is a static position working as part of an established team of 16 engineers within a busy and highly visible client environment. The successful candidate will be very client-facing and will have the opportunity to work within a site where you may regularly interact with senior personnel.

The role is varied, with a strong focus on PPM and building services maintenance. You will primarily be responsible for maintaining AHUs, with some exposure to Siemens BMS systems, alongside general building services duties including temperature checks and occasional basic plumbing.

For the first couple of months, you'll have the opportunity to familiarise yourself with the site, equipment and systems, giving you the freedom to learn the environment properly before taking on the full responsibilities of the role.

Key Responsibilities:

Planned preventative maintenance across the site

*

Electrical maintenance and fault finding

*

PPMs on AHUs and associated equipment

*

Basic BMS works, predominantly Siemens

*

Temperature checks and monitoring

*

General building services maintenance

*

Occasional basic plumbing duties

*

Responding to reactive maintenance issues

*

Maintaining accurate records and completing relevant documentation

*

Working closely with the onsite engineering team and client

*

Providing a professional and customer-focused service

Requirements:

*

Electrical engineering qualification

*

Experience within commercial facilities maintenance or a similar environment

*

Multi-skilled building services experience

*

Strong electrical maintenance and fault-finding skills

*

Experience with AHUs/HVAC advantageous

*

BMS experience, particularly Siemens, would be beneficial

*

Basic plumbing knowledge advantageous

*

Good communication and customer-facing skills

*

Comfortable working as part of a large engineering team
