This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established College that is continuing to invest in its Construction provision. The department has strong growth plans and is looking for a practical, hands-on construction professional who can support learners across a range of construction skills.
In this role, you will deliver Construction Skills qualifications to full-time learners aged 16-19, mainly across Level 1 and Level 2. You will support learners in developing practical skills across a range of areas, which could include bricklaying, carpentry, drainage, block paving, patios, rainwater goods, roofing tiles and general construction skills.
The ideal candidate will have a rounded construction skill set and could come from a specific trade background such as bricklaying, groundworks, carpentry or general building. Teaching experience would be beneficial, but it is not essential, as full training and support can be provided for the right industry professional.

The Role:
Multi-Skills Lecturer Delivering Construction Skills qualifications Teaching Level 1 and Level 2 learners Working with full-time learners aged 16-19 Covering a range of practical construction units Monday to Thursday, 8:30am - 5:00pm Friday finish at 4:30pm 37-hour working week Full training and development provided The Person:
Multi-skilled construction background Could come from bricklaying, groundworks, carpentry or general building Level 2 trade qualification minimum Level 3 qualification ideal NVQ, Diploma, Advanced Craft or equivalent considered Confident across a range of construction skills Experience with bricklaying, drainage, block paving, patios, rainwater goods, roofing or general construction beneficial Ability to support Groundworks delivery would be advantageous Teaching experience beneficial but not essential Looking to move into a long-term role in educationRise Technical Recruitment Ltd acts an employment agency for permanent roles and an employment business for temporary roles.
