RG SETSQUARE IS CURRENTLY WORKING WITH A SOCIAL HOUSING CONTRACTOR SEEKING AN EXPERIENCED MULTI TRADE OPERATIVE

Job title: Multi Trade Operative
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £36,000
Monday to Friday
8am-4:30pm.

Benefits: Company van and fuel card provided
23 days + Bank holidays

Key Responsibilities:
* Void Works: Carry out works on void properties, ensuring they are brought back to a lettable standard efficiently.
* Multi-Trade Duties: Complete a range of tasks including basic carpentry, plumbing, painting, and general repairs.
* Property Refurbishments: Assist with refurbishment works across void properties, maintaining high standards of workmanship.
* Repairs & Maintenance: Undertake general repairs, maintenance, and minor upgrades as required.
* Quality of Work: Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with client expectations.
* Health & Safety: Follow all company health and safety procedures, ensuring safe working practices at all times.
* Teamwork: Work alongside other trades and supervisors to complete jobs efficiently.
* Time Management: Ensure works are completed within agreed timeframes and schedules.

Key Requirements:
* Proven Experience: Previous experience as a Multi Trade Operative or in a similar role within social housing or property maintenance is preferred.

* MUST have NVQ or C&G Qualifications within a trade.

* Multi-Skilled: Ability to carry out a range of basic trades including carpentry, plumbing, and decorating.
* Full UK Driving License: Must have a valid driving license.
* Practical Skills: Strong hands-on ability with attention to detail.
* Communication Skills: Ability to work effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
* Self-Motivated: Able to work independently and complete tasks efficiently.
* Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
* Health & Safety Awareness: Good understanding of health and safety regulations.

As a Multi Trade Operative, you will play a key role in preparing properties for new tenants. The Multi Trade Operative will be responsible for completing a variety of tasks across multiple properties, ensuring high-quality results. This Multi Trade Operative role requires a reliable and motivated individual who can work independently and as part of a team.
