The Role Empty Homes Team
The Empty Homes team is responsible for preparing vacant properties for new tenants, ensuring homes are safe, well maintained, and ready to be re-let as quickly as possible. Working closely with in-house trades teams, subcontractors, housing colleagues, and incoming residents, you'll play a vital role in transforming empty properties into welcoming homes.

We're looking for two experienced Multi Trade Operatives to join a busy Empty Homes team. You'll carry out a wide range of maintenance, repair, and refurbishment tasks to a high standard, helping to deliver an efficient and effective service across vacant housing stock.
The role covers Ascot, Windsor, Reading, Slough, and surrounding areas.
As part of a collaborative team, you'll undertake a variety of trade-related works, ensuring all repairs and installations are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with good building maintenance practices.
Key Responsibilities Carry out a broad range of multi-trade repairs and refurbishment works. Prepare vacant properties for new tenants. Complete repairs and installations to a high standard. Work efficiently to achieve agreed turnaround times on empty properties. Collaborate with colleagues, contractors, and housing teams. Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a professional approach at all times. Ensure all work complies with health and safety requirements and industry best practices. What We're Looking For Previous experience in a Multi Trade or Property Maintenance role. City & Guilds or NVQ qualification in a relevant trade. Strong practical skills across a range of trades. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Reliable, motivated, and achievement-focused. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Full UK driving licence. What's Included

The role also includes participation in an Out of Hours Callout rota, so flexibility is essential.
