We are looking for a reliable, skilled, and flexible Multi Trade Operative to join our team on a full-time basis. This role involves working away from home, carrying out various maintenance, repair, and installation tasks across multiple trades to a high standard.

Because the role involves working away and variable hours, we are looking for an adaptable professional who can manage their time efficiently, maintain high standards of workmanship, and represent the company in a professional manner.

Key Responsibilities

* Undertake a wide range of multi-trade repairs and maintenance tasks (e.g., carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling, painting/decorating, and general building work).

* Complete scheduled works efficiently while working on location away from home.

* Diagnose faults, plan repairs, and complete remedial work right-first time.

* Adhere strictly to health and safety guidelines, site rules, and risk assessments at all times.

* Maintain tools, equipment, and the provided company van in a clean, safe, and organized condition.

* Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients.

* Adapt to variable daily working hours depending on project demands.

Candidate Requirements

* Experience: Proven professional experience working as a Multi Trade Operative or within general property maintenance/construction.

* Skills: Competent across a primary trade with strong secondary trade capabilities.

* Tools: Must provide your own standard hand and power tools.

* Driving Licence: Full UK Driving Licence (essential for operating the company van).

* Flexibility: Willingness to work away from home and adapt to variable shift/working hours.

* Work Ethic: Strong problem-solving abilities, high attention to detail, and a professional, customer-focused attitude.
