Multi Trade Operative – Social Housing

Location: Worcester & Stroud (and surrounding areas)
Pay: £19.00–£23.00 per hour (CIS) – Depending on Experience
Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
Benefits: Company Van & Fuel Card Provided

Fortus recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi Trade Operative to join a well-established social housing contractor carrying out work across Worcester and Stroud.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled tradesperson looking for consistent, long-term work with a reputable contractor.

The Role

You will be working on void properties, carrying out refurbishment and repair works to prepare homes for new tenants. The role requires a strong all-round skillset and the ability to complete work to a high standard.

Duties will include:

Carpentry repairs and installations
Basic plumbing works
Wall and floor tiling
Patch plastering and making good
Internal painting and decorating
General multi-trade maintenance as required

What We're Looking For

Previous experience working as a Multi Trade Operative, ideally within social housing or property maintenance
Strong carpentry skills with experience across other trades
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
Good attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship
Full UK driving licence (essential)

What's on Offer
