Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician

SAIC is seeking a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to support an existing Air Force program out of RAF Staxton Wold, UK.

(Target salary is around $55-60k; not including OCONUS uplifts).

The Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial equipment, automobiles, automobile support systems, generators, trailers, and other mechanical items and facilities as required.

The Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician will:

• 
  

  Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance tasks on production and facility equipment.



• 
  

  Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.



• 
  

  Conduct inspections and document maintenance activities to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.



• 
  

  Fabricate and install parts using various fabrication techniques.



• 
  

  Collaborate with field teams to identify and resolve equipment performance issues.



• 
  

  Assist in equipment upgrades, installations, and process improvement projects.



• 
  

  Act as Vehicle Control Officer, as locally designated.



• 
  

  Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent.



• 
  

  Contract position will support any additional related duties as required



• 
  

  Participate in formal/informal training events as required/directed to maintain tactical/technical skills. 

Required Experience/Qualifications

• Bachelor's and 0 or 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance or related field. 

• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. 

• Proficient in the use of Multi-Meters and Amp meters to aid in troubleshooting. 

• Ability to read schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals. 

• OSHA 10 Complete.

• US Citizen and active Secret Clearance

Desired Experience/Qualifications:

• Valid EU Class CE driver’s license.

• Trade-Specific Certification/License. E.G.: CMRT, NCCER, MSSC CPT, NFPA 70E, NATE, AWS, or ASE Certified Diesel Mechanic

• OSHA 30 Complete.

• 3+ years of experience working as Diesel/Gasoline Engine Mechanic.

• 3+ years of experience working in Mechanical repair.

• Small engine repair experience.
