Multilingual Buyer

We are currently recruiting for a Multilingual Buyer on behalf of a client in Colchester.

The role is office based and the salary is around £30,000-£35,000 depending on experience. This is an exciting opportunity for a Junior Buyer to join an international company during an exciting period of expansion.

The company specialises in procurement solutions for heavy industry. They are looking for a buyer to assist with their operations across Europe. Any European language skills aside from English are desirable. Previous experience in procurement, supply chain or logistics would be beneficial. Entry level candidates with an interest in a long term career in procurement may be considered. Candidates must be able to commute to the office 5 days a week.

Responsibilities:

• Dealing with international suppliers
• Researching and negotiating pricing
• Agreeing terms and preparing quotations for customers
• Processing orders
• Updating customers regularly and in a professional manner

What we're looking for:

• Previous experience in a purchasing role or related field
• Foreign language skills (any European language)
• Excellent organisation and communication skills
• Experience in a customer facing role
