Multilingual Database Builder (Remote)

ROLE OVERVIEW
Accept Recruitment is recruiting 6 Remote Multilingual Database Builders for our client.

The role involves researching and compiling business contact information across various industries and sectors.

These databases will be used by established businesses and start-up companies that need commercially useful business information to launch, grow or expand in the New Year.

This is a fully remote contract running until 31st January 2027, open to candidates based anywhere in England. It is exclusively a database research and compilation role.

It does not involve telesales, cold calling, selling products or contacting businesses to generate sales.

LANGUAGES REQUIRED
We are specifically looking for multilingual candidates.

You must speak fluent English plus at least one additional European language, such as:
- Spanish
- Portuguese
- French
- Italian
- German
- Dutch
- Polish
- Romanian
- Swedish
- Norwegian
- Danish
- Greek
- Czech
- Hungarian
- Other European languages will also be considered

Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian and German are particularly in demand.

Candidates who speak more than one European language will be particularly valuable, as some projects involve researching businesses across different European markets.

THE ROLE
You will research businesses, identify relevant contact information and compile it into structured, organised databases using spreadsheets or other designated formats.

The types of databases you may be assigned to create include, but are not limited to:

- Business-to-business telephone directories and sector contact databases
- Hotels, accommodation, resorts and hospitality businesses
- Construction companies, building contractors, builders and specialist trades
- Tool hire and equipment rental companies
- Plant and machinery hire businesses and machinery suppliers
- Agricultural suppliers and agricultural contractors
- Farming businesses, agricultural organisations, livestock businesses and crop producers
- Commercial suppliers, distributors and manufacturers
- Other industry-specific business directories
- Start-up businesses preparing to launch in the New Year

Assignments may involve compiling large numbers of business contacts, depending on each project's requirements.

The information you collect will generally include:
- Company or business name
- Main business telephone number
- Business email address
- Registered or trading address
- Physical premises address
- Company website
- Relevant industry or business category
- Other relevant business contact information where required

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Research businesses within assigned industries and geographical areas
- Identify relevant companies and compile their business information
- Build structured databases using Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets or other designated formats
- Manually check and verify company names, telephone numbers, email addresses and business addresses
- Remove duplicate entries and maintain consistent formatting
- Organise information into clearly defined categories and industry sectors
- Meet project deadlines and agreed database-building targets
- Maintain accuracy and work independently throughout each project

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Fluent in at least one additional European language (see list above)
- Confident using computers, spreadsheets and online research tools
- Methodical, reliable and highly organised, with strong attention to detail
- Capable of working independently within a remote environment
- Based in England
- Your own computer or laptop, a reliable internet connection and a quiet working environment

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE
Ideally you will have previously undertaken work involving:
- Internet and online research
- Data entry and data compilation
- Database creation and management
- Business directory research
- Administrative and information-gathering tasks
- Spreadsheet management, particularly Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets

You do not need to have held the exact job title of Database Builder before, but you must be able to demonstrate suitable research, computer and organisational skills. Graduates, language students and admin professionals are welcome to apply.
