Location: Cardiff, Newport, Swansea & surrounding South Wales areas
Salary: £33,000 – £42,000 per annum
Employment: Self-employed initially, with the opportunity to progress into a permanent position

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Multi-Skilled Loft Boarding Installer to join our growing team across South Wales.

The role will initially be offered on a self-employed basis, with the opportunity to progress into a full-time permanent position for the right candidate.

You will work independently across Cardiff, Newport, Swansea and surrounding areas, carrying out loft installations and a range of associated carpentry and building work.

Key Responsibilities

* Install loft boarding and raised loft flooring systems.

* Carry out plasterboarding and plastering work.

* Fit wooden and aluminium loft ladders.

* Complete general carpentry and building work.

* Make insulation adjustments where required.

* Carry out basic electrical work where appropriately qualified.

* Maintain clean, safe and organised work areas.

Requirements

* Proven experience in carpentry, loft installation or a similar trade.

* Confident working independently with hand and power tools.

* Own suitable tools for carrying out the work.

* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across South Wales.

* Reliable, professional and able to work to a high standard.

* Electrical qualifications are desirable.

* Salary expectations of £33,000 – £42,000 per annum.
