Alternating shifts: Week 1: 7:00am to 3:00pm | Week 2: 10:00am to 6:00pm

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Multi-Skilled Electrical Engineer to join a well-established engineering team in Salford. This role is ideal for an electrically qualified engineer looking to work within a busy and varied maintenance environment, carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance activities while supporting the operation of critical building services.

Key Responsibilities of the Multi Skilled Electrical Engineer

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across electrical systems and associated plant equipment.
Diagnose faults, undertake repairs, and commission electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
Install, maintain and repair electrical and building services equipment.
Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations, statutory requirements, and site procedures.
Complete maintenance records, permits, and associated documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
Identify additional works required and proactively report potential issues before they become critical.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver a high-quality maintenance service.
Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain high engineering standards across the site.

The Successful Multi Skilled Electrical Engineer Will Have

A recognised Electrical Apprenticeship.
18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
Experience carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance within a commercial, industrial, or facilities management environment.
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across electrical systems.
Experience working on lighting, small power, and general building services systems.
The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
A sound understanding of health & safety legislation and safe working practices.
A full UK driving licence.

Desirable Experience

Experience working within a critical environment, healthcare setting, or facilities management contract.
Knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS).
