Multi-Skilled Engineer

• Shifts: 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm (occasional weekends at overtime rates)

This skilled group of professionals takes pride in achieving high standards and are currently looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician to help ensure their varied manufacturing operations continue running efficiently.

The Position:

• Perform scheduled, proactive, and responsive maintenance duties
• Assist with engineering tasks, including setting up new machinery
• Diagnose faults across electrical, mechanical, and control systems
• Promote safe work practices and uphold compliance with legal standards
• Collaborate with production staff and other departments to foster continuous improvement

What You’ll Bring:

• Ideally, a 60/40 split with a focus on electrical skills
• Recognised engineering certification (such as HNC, ONC, or completed apprenticeship)
• Proven background in hands-on maintenance within a manufacturing setting
• Strong troubleshooting abilities in both electrical and mechanical systems
• Familiarity with pumps, motors, steam processes, pneumatics, etc. (advantageous)
• Understanding of health and safety guidelines (e.g. IOSH, Permit to Work schemes)
• Confident using standard computer software (e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word)
