Multi-skilled Engineer

Our client is currently looking for a Multi-skilled Engineer to join there team!

Duties

Multi-Skilled Engineer is responsible for the first level escalation of breakdowns within the factory. Working as part of the shift engineering team ensuring breakdowns are fixed promptly in line with priorities.

• The breakdowns include electrical and mechanical.
• Diagnose and resolve faults efficiently.
• Perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime.
• Work closely with production teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Uphold health and safety standards across all tasks.

Requirements

A successful candidate must have qualification in engineering (either mechanical or electrical) and it would be advantageous if they had experience of working in a FMCG or Food environment. Due to the nature of the job, knowledge of Electrical systems such as PLC's, inverters and mechanical systems such as pneumatics, hydraulics, bearings and gearboxes is essential.

Hours: 48 hours per week (Sunday - Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday) 12 Hour shifts
