Multiskilled Engineer

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer you will be working closely with the Engineering Team and carry out daily mechanical & electrical maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out in line with appropriate Health & Safety instructions and site policies.

Description

· You will be required to carry out daily mechanical and electrical maintenance on machinery and production equipment

· Ensure the work is carried out in accordance with Health and Safety Regulations using Safe Systems of Work

· Proactively looking for new, improved ways of working

· Proposing corrective actions to prevent recurring issues

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off pattern, 4 Days and 4 Nights

Profile

· Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering techniques.

· Knowledge of site services, CIP, refrigeration, steam boilers, water and effluent monitoring are desirable but not essential.

· NVQ Level 3 Qualified at a minimum

· Experience of working in reactive maintenance roles

· Strong interpersonal skills: a team player who is prepared to support fellow engineers and can also develop good relationships with colleagues in departments across the business.

Job Offer

Salary: £49,000 Per annum
