Are you a hands-on Multi-Skilled Engineer with solid commissioning experience in a fast-paced FMCG environment? Are you looking for a fresh challenge where your skills can make a real difference?

We're hiring a proactive, skilled engineer to support the installation and commissioning of new machinery and processes at a well-established FMCG manufacturing facility in Rochester, Kent.

The Role:

As part of the site engineering team, you'll play a key role in commissioning new equipment, improving existing production lines, and ensuring reliable, efficient operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys varied, hands-on work and being involved in project delivery from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

• Electrical and mechanical support during installation and commissioning of machinery
  
• Carrying out fault finding, testing, and modifications during commissioning phases
  
• Working alongside project and production teams to ensure seamless handover of new assets
  
• Supporting planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and breakdown response
  
• Contributing to continuous improvement and root cause analysis
  
• Ensuring all work complies with site H&S and quality standards
  

? What We're Looking For:

• Time-served or qualified multi-skilled engineer (electrical/mechanical bias considered)
  
• Proven experience commissioning production machinery in an FMCG or manufacturing setting
  
• Strong fault-finding, diagnostic, and hands-on repair skills
  
• Knowledge of PLC-controlled systems is an advantage
  
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  
• Flexible and proactive mindset
