Job Description

We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Front Desk/Nights professional to join our team in Hounslow, United Kingdom. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service during night shifts while managing various front desk operations and night audit tasks.

  • Warmly greet and welcome guests, ensuring a positive first impression
  • Efficiently handle check-in and check-out procedures, maintaining accuracy at all times
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest enquiries and requests
  • Manage room reservations, assignments, and status updates
  • Provide information about local attractions, dining options, and transportation in Hounslow and surrounding areas
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Handle telephone calls, emails, and other communications in a timely manner
  • Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
  • Perform night audit tasks, including balancing accounts and preparing daily reports
  • Ensure the lobby and reception area are clean, organised, and presentable throughout the night
  • Maintain security awareness and follow established safety procedures
  • Set up breakfast and manage snacks and drinks sales as required
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, professional demeanour
  • Strong multi-tasking abilities with a keen eye for detail and efficient prioritisation skills
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications and Opera Cloud
  • Ability to work night shifts and remain alert and composed during late hours
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in hospitality
  • Basic accounting skills for night audit tasks
  • Familiarity with emergency procedures and hotel security protocols
  • Knowledge of Hounslow and popular attractions in the surrounding areas
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
  • High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality-related education is advantageous
  • Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic food handling knowledge and adherence to food safety standards
