Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer

Elevation have the pleasure of working with one of our leading FMCG clients in the Barnsley area who are looking for a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team with immediate effect.

Salary: £50,450

Location: Barnsley

Hours: Panama days and nights

Duties of Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer:

• Being proactive within the job focussing on preventative maintenance as well as reactive maintenance
• Completing relevant paperwork on a daily basis
• Attending to breakdowns
• Keeping on-top of all planned preventative maintenance on a monthly timescale
• Maintaining good standards of housekeeping on a regular basis
• Project work will be part of role
• Working within a team environment so must be a team player, but also work from own initiative when needed
• Ensure always adhering to health and safety procedures.
• Meeting daily KPI’s
• Fault diagnostics and correction within a set time frame

Desired experience:

• You must have at least Level 3 or above in Electrical Engineering (City and Guilds – Apprentice trained or equivalent)
• Must have sound Mechanical Maintenance knowledgel
• Must have experience within a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer role previously
• Ideally have 3 years experience within an FMCG environment
• Must have a sound knowledge of health and safety procedures in the work place
• Clean driving license
