The Company

The company is extremely well established with over 80 years of manufacturing experience and has a global reputation which is second to none in their marketplace. Due to continued expansion, they are looking to recruit an experienced maintenance engineer.

Key Skills

* Apprentice Trained electrical engineer or mechanical

* Experience of PLC’s & Automated Machinery

* Understanding of PPM Systems

The Role

You will have served a minimum of a full apprenticeship in engineering and have experience working within planned and preventative maintenance schedules, project based work within a high speed automated environment.

You will also have a strong multi-skilled background with the ability to fault find on a variety of production equipment. There will be a great deal of technical development, which will aid your longer term career prospects within this instantly recognisable group.

The role will involve working in a team of engineers, on shift, with some multi-skilling and the work will be working with mechanical and electrical kit om a variety of production process machinery in use, such as extrusion and drawing equipment hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, gearboxes, and bearings. On going training and support within this highly focused group will give the right candidate an opportunity to progress into larger roles within this long-standing group.
