Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

Impact Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join one of our clients on a permanent basis in Leicester.

Role: Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer
Hours: Flexible working hours Monday - Friday between 6:00am - 10:00pm (Minimum 40 hours per week)
Location: Leicester
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000

Duties:

Carry out both reactive and preventative maintenance across the site
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
Conduct routine inspections to identify and resolve issues proactively
Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimise production downtime
Maintain and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
Complete maintenance records, inspections, and repair documentation
Liaise with external contractors and suppliers when required
Ensure all work is carried out in line with Health & Safety procedures
Manage maintenance activities independently within a standalone roleRequirements:

Time-served Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
18th Edition qualified
Completed an apprenticeship within General Engineering or Machining
Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding experience
Previous experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
Ability to read and interpret schematics and engineering diagrams
Able to work independently and manage workload effectively
Experience within plastics or injection moulding would be advantageous
Experience working with hydraulic systems would be advantageousWhat's On Offer:
