Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a growing manufacturing group based in the High Peak, with occasional travel to its their 2nd facility near by. This is a permanent position within a modern manufacturing environment, offering excellent long-term career prospects and the opportunity to play a key role in maintaining the reliability, efficiency, and safety of production equipment. The role comes with a rewarding package, with excellent opportunity for additional earning.

This position would suit a time-served Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical and mechanical maintenance background and experience working within a manufacturing or industrial environment. You'll need strong electrical fault-finding skills, knowledge of motors and drives, pumps and pipework, pneumatics, and hydraulics, alongside an 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification, although 17th Edition will also be considered. The role would particularly suit someone who enjoys fault-finding, preventative maintenance, continuous improvement and taking a proactive approach to equipment reliability.

Key Responsibilities
* Respond promptly and effectively to equipment and plant breakdowns
* Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities
* Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability and uptime
* Maintain pumps, pipework, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
* Inspect machinery and plant to identify potential issues before failures occur
* Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
* Assist with equipment installations and site improvement projects
* Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with company Health & Safety procedures

Salary & Package: Up to £49,511 per annum, plus additional paid overtime, 20 paid Saturday shifts per year (6 hours each), company pension scheme, free on-site parking, ongoing training and development, and secure long-term career prospects within a growing manufacturing group.
