Annual Salary of £56,077Plus on call allowance (once trained) of £8,446.

Days based, with Call-Out Rota Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm (30 minute lunch break) 37.5 Hour Working WeekThe Role of Multiskilled Maintenance Technician
The successful Multiskilled Maintenance Technician will play a key role in upkeep of plant equipment, infrastructure and site reliability through planned, preventative and reactive activities across both Mechanical and EC&I disciplines.
This is an excellent opportunity for a time-served Engineer, looking to join a forward-thinking manufacturing business focused on operational excellence, continuous improvement and sustainable technologies.
Key Responsibilities of the Multiskilled Maintenance Technician:
Deliver planned and reactive engineering support across mechanical, electrical, control and instrumentation systems Fault find and diagnose issues across complex process plant equipment Support plant reliability, minimise downtime and maximise operational availability Carry out engineering activities in line with SAP PM schedules Support commissioning, plant modifications and improvement projects Maintain compliance with HSE procedures, permits and isolation standards Work closely with stakeholders within various operations teams, colleagues and contractors alike Update engineering records and work orders within SAP CMMS systems Participate in the site on-call rotaThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Recognised apprenticeship or equivalent qualifications (e.g. HNC/HND in a related Eng discipline) Multi-skilled experience across Mechanical and EC&I disciplines. Experience within chemical, manufacturing or process industries Strong knowledge of pumps, motors, drives, instrumentation and control systems Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical and control drawings Experience using SAP PM or similar engineering management systems Excellent fault-finding, problem-solving and organisational skillsWhy Apply for the Multiskilled Maintenance Technician role?
