Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician (General Builder)

We are looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician (General Builder) to join our Repairs Team! The purpose of this role is to undertake roofing, plastering, bricklaying, groundworks and associated tasks on mainly domestic properties located throughout East Anglia to a high standard.

We own and manage c.7,500 homes in the east of England, working closely with other agencies and stakeholders within our communities. We build on the good foundations we have in place in being a customer-centric organisation, investing in our existing homes - including our zero-carbon journey - as well as building new homes.

Outline of Key Responsibilities...

• Undertake roofing, plastering, bricklaying and ground works. Works to be completed in line with all relevant C&G qualifications, British Standards, and any other applicable industry best practices
• Ability to diagnose faults and rectify effectively. Repairs carried out on first visit wherever possible
• Where additional works are required, the ability to provide clear information as to work, duration and materials required
• Undertake basic works of other trades relative to work undertaken or, as directed by line manager
• Comply with statutory and company health and safety regulations and policy
• Work closely to target timescales

We are looking for someone who has...

• Full driving licence
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Good customer care skills
• Competent user of I.T.
• Experience in roofing, plastering and bricklaying
