We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled Plasterer to join a well-established contractor delivering social housing disrepair and maintenance works across the Wigan area. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled operative seeking long-term work with the potential of a permanent position.

The Role

Working within occupied and tenanted social housing properties, you will be responsible for carrying out full plastering works as part of disrepair projects, alongside a range of additional multi-trade repairs and maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Full plastering works including skimming, floating, rendering, patch repairs and making good
Carrying out disrepair works within occupied social housing properties
Kitchen and bathroom repairs and refurbishment works
Basic joinery and carpentry repairs
Wall and floor tiling
Basic plumbing repairs and maintenance
General multi-skilled maintenance tasks
Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales
Providing excellent customer service while working in residents' homes
Adhering to all health and safety procedures
Requirements

Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Plasterer
Strong plastering background with experience completing full plastering works
Previous experience working on social housing disrepair contracts
Experience working within occupied and tenanted properties
Ability to undertake basic joinery, tiling and plumbing works
Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
City & Guilds or NVQ qualification in Plastering or a relevant trade preferred
Good communication skills and a professional approach when dealing with tenantsWhat's on Offer?
