This is a reactive position and as Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer you will play a pivotal part in maintaining the continuous production and improve efficiencies safely through effectively implementing preventative maintenance schedules and responding in a timely manner to various breakdown repairs.

This is a 4 on 4 off shift working 2 days followed by 2 nights.

Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer - Responsibilities & Requirements

• Must have experience within fast-paced FMCG environment
• Will have a recognised multi skilled engineering apprenticeship or engineering qualification
• Ensuring all equipment on site is in a satisfactory and safe condition and complies with current Health & Safety legislation
• An understanding of pneumatic/hydraulic systems
• Strong experience of engineering systems includding planned preventative maintenance
• Completion of planned preventive maintenance
• Completion of maintenance and breakdown records for all work undertaken on site
• Interacting with onsite teams
• To identify potential hazards/risks to the Health & Safety Manager/responsible person upon discovery
• Must have a strong understanding of engineering principles
• Positive attitude and strong communication skills are a must!
