💷 Salary: £62,401 per annum

⏰ Hours: 42 hours per week
🔄 Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off – rotating days and nights
      (Days one week, nights the following week)

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer 🔧 to play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our bakery 🥖. This is a hands-on position requiring strong problem-solving skills, flexibility, and a proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvement 📈.

Working across both day and night shifts 🌙☀️, you will be responsible for maintaining plant equipment and site services ⚙️, responding to breakdowns 🚨, and supporting site performance through reliability and efficiency improvements.

🔑 Key Accountabilities

• 🔍 Diagnose and repair automation, electrical, and mechanical faults during breakdowns
• 🛠️ Deliver proactive and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime
• 📊 Support and implement the site engineering strategy
• 🚀 Lead and deliver continuous improvement projects on time and within budget
• 📉 Contribute to improved site performance through KPIs such as OEE and CCOs
• 🦺 Maintain and promote high standards of health and safety
• 🎓 Provide training, coaching, and technical support to operators and fellow engineers
• 🤝 Support wider site activities as required to ensure operational success
