Overview

We are a boutique property development company delivering high-quality residential projects across Brighton and the surrounding areas. Our work includes home extensions, full refurbishments, and remedial property improvements. As our project pipeline grows, we are looking for a skilled and dependable Multi-Trade Builder to join our team on a full-time basis.

This is a hands-on, varied role ideal for someone who enjoys working across different stages of residential builds, takes pride in their craft, and can work both independently and collaboratively. You'll play a key role in the day-to-day delivery of quality projects in a professional, well-run environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out a wide range of general building duties on residential development sites

- Work on diverse projects including house extensions, renovations, conversions, and remedial works

- Interpret plans and follow instructions to deliver accurate, high-quality results

- Perform general site tasks including internal and external works, with a focus on finish and detail

- Coordinate with other trades and team members to ensure smooth workflow and project timelines

- Maintain a safe, organised and tidy site in line with health & safety standards

- Support project efficiency by proactively addressing challenges and keeping communication clear

- Represent the company with professionalism and reliability on site

Requirements

- Strong experience in residential building, ideally in a multi-trade role

- Confident in a variety of building tasks and site work

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

- Capable of interpreting drawings and working to specification

- Good communication and practical problem-solving skills

- Own tools and transport required

- Valid CSCS card and relevant trade qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 2/3) preferred

- Public liability insurance desirable or willingness to obtain
