Multi-Trader

DK Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well-established facilities and maintenance contractor for an experienced Multi-Trader to join their growing team covering Dorchester and the surrounding Dorset area.

This is a varied, customer-facing role carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of commercial and residential properties.

The Role

As a Mobile Maintenance Multi-Trader, you'll be responsible for completing a wide variety of maintenance and repair tasks to a high standard while delivering excellent customer service.

Typical duties include:

* General building maintenance and repairs.

* Basic carpentry, plumbing and painting & decorating.

* Patch plastering, tiling and flooring repairs.

* Door, lock and ironmongery repairs.

* Kitchen and bathroom maintenance.

* Reactive maintenance and planned works.

* Diagnosing faults and completing first-time fixes where possible.

* Accurately completing job reports using a handheld device.

* Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with company procedures.

What We're Looking For

* Previous experience in a Multi-Trader, Maintenance Operative or Property Maintenance role.

* Competent across multiple trades, ideally including carpentry, plumbing and decorating.

* Experience working within commercial, residential or social housing environments.

* Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.

* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

* Excellent customer service and communication skills.

* Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
