About the Role

Maintenance Buddy Ltd is recruiting experienced and reliable Multi-Traders to join our growing network of skilled workers.

We provide maintenance and repair staffing support to businesses, property management companies, housing providers and other organisations requiring additional maintenance personnel.

Assignments may involve general property maintenance, repairs, planned works, responsive maintenance and additional staffing during busy periods.

Key Responsibilities

* Depending on the assignment and your individual skills, your duties may include:

* Carrying out general property maintenance and repairs.

* Basic plumbing repairs and maintenance.

* Basic carpentry and joinery.

* Painting and decorating.

* Plastering and making good.

* Tiling and minor repairs.

* Repairing doors, locks, fixtures and fittings.

* Carrying out general building maintenance.

* Identifying and reporting defects and maintenance issues.

* Completing maintenance tasks to a professional standard.

* Using hand tools and power tools safely.

* Maintaining a clean and safe working area.

* Following job instructions and work schedules.

* Completing work within agreed timescales.

* Reporting additional works or issues identified during an assignment.

* Following all relevant health and safety procedures.

The exact duties will depend on the assignment and your areas of competence.

Working Hours

Working hours will depend on the individual assignment and client requirements.

Assignments may include:

* Day shifts

* Weekday work

* Weekend work

* Planned maintenance

* Responsive maintenance

* Temporary maintenance cover

* Additional staffing during busy periods

The available hours, location and requirements will be explained before you accept an assignment.

Pay

£20.00 per hour

A standard 8-hour assignment would be £160 before any applicable deductions.

The exact hours available may vary depending on client demand and assignment requirements.

Essential Requirements

Applicants should:

* Have relevant experience in property maintenance or multiple trades.

* Be reliable and punctual.

* Be able to work independently and as part of a team.

* Have good problem-solving skills.

Be able to follow job instructions and specifications.

Work to a good standard of workmanship.

Be physically able to carry out the duties required.

Follow health and safety procedures.

Have the appropriate qualifications or certification where required for specific tasks.

Have the right to work in the UK.

Complete the required onboarding and checks.
