Multskilled Joiner

Belmont Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Joiner to work with our client on a temporary basis. This role involves carrying out responsive repairs and maintenance works to occupied and void properties across the borough of Bury. A company vehicle will be provided, with ongoing work available.

Overview:

You will join a responsive repairs team, undertaking a range of joinery repairs and maintenance works across a varied housing portfolio. The role will also involve carrying out secondary trade duties, diagnosing repair issues and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard, while providing excellent customer service to tenants.

Main Duties:

Carrying out responsive repairs and maintenance to occupied and void properties

*

Diagnosing and resolving repair issues on the first visit wherever possible

*

Undertaking joinery works alongside secondary trade duties, including basic plumbing, tiling, plaster patching and general maintenance

*

Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard

*

Providing excellent customer service and communicating professionally with tenants

*

Working independently and managing workloads effectively

*

Delivering a reliable, professional and high-quality repairs service to residents across the borough

Essential Criteria:

*

Time-served Joiner with relevant qualifications

*

Previous experience in social housing repairs and maintenance

*

Ability to undertake a range of secondary trade duties, including basic plumbing, tiling, plaster patching and general maintenance

*

Full UK driving licence

*

Own tools required

*

Good customer service and communication skills

*

Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively

*

Reliable, professional and committed to delivering a high-quality repairs service to residents
