Your Role as a Music ECT:
- Plan and deliver engaging and creative Music lessons across KS3 and KS4, with potential opportunities to contribute to KS5.
- Develop students' skills in performance, composition, and music theory, fostering a love for music across different styles and genres.
- Support students in developing confidence and self-expression through music.
- Contribute to the school's vibrant extracurricular program, including concerts, music clubs, and ensembles.
- Work closely with the Head of Music and colleagues to refine and develop the Music curriculum.
Who We’re Looking For:
- A passionate and motivated Early Career Teacher (ECT) with a degree in Music and a PGCE or equivalent qualification.
- Strong musical knowledge and the ability to teach a broad range of styles and instruments.
- A commitment to fostering creativity and inspiring students to develop their musical abilities.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- A willingness to contribute to the wider school community through music performances and events.
- Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
