Are you a passionate and creative Music Teacher ready to inspire the next generation of musicians?

Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with several dynamic and inclusive secondary schools in Northampton, each with a strong commitment to the arts and a vibrant extra-curricular culture. These schools are looking to appoint enthusiastic and skilled Music Teachers from September 2025 for full-time, long-term roles. These opportunities are open to both experienced Music Teachers and confident ECTs eager to make an impact.

This is your chance to lead engaging lessons that nurture musical talent and creativity across Key Stages 3 and 4, while also contributing to the wider cultural life of the school through performances, clubs, and events.

What the role involves:

• Delivering practical and theoretical Music lessons that meet the national curriculum

• Encouraging students' musical development through composition, performance and listening

• Preparing pupils for assessments and supporting progress at all levels

• Organising and supporting school concerts, productions, and extra-curricular music activities

• Contributing to departmental planning and fostering a love for music across the school community

We're looking for someone who:

• Holds UK QTS or an equivalent Music teaching qualification

• Has recent experience teaching Music in UK secondary schools

• Possesses strong musicianship and classroom management skills

• Is confident leading both individual and group musical activities

• Brings creativity, enthusiasm and a commitment to inclusive education
