An Ofsted-rated ’Good’ secondary school in Leytonstone is seeking a passionate Music Teacher to join their exciting Creative Arts Department on a full-time basis starting this September. This is an excellent opportunity for either an Early Career Music Teacher (ECT) or an experienced Music Teacher looking for a vibrant and encouraging working environment. The school is oversubscribed, a four-form entry, single-sex (girls) school.

Key Responsibilities for the Music Teacher:

• Deliver high-quality, engaging Music lessons aligned with the national curriculum to students from Key Stage 3 through Key Stage 5

• Collaborate closely with fellow Music Teachers to support department and whole-school initiatives

• Effectively manage classroom behaviour

The Successful Music Teacher Will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (required)

• Deliver engaging lessons that inspire and motivate students

• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to support student development

• Be proactive with a strong commitment to safeguarding students
