A large, well‑established secondary school in Clitheroe is seeking a committed Teacher of Music to join their highly regarded Performing Arts department on a full-time maternity cover from Monday 13th April 2026.

This is an exciting chance to bring your passion for music to a school that values creativity, high-quality teaching, and student engagement.

The Role:

Delivering engaging Music lessons across Key Stages 3 & 4
Planning and delivering both practical and theory-based lessons
Supporting students of all abilities to progress and achieve
Contributing to school concerts, performances, and extracurricular music activities
Working collaboratively with a dynamic Performing Arts team
The School is Looking For:

A qualified Teacher of Music (ECTs and experienced teachers welcome)
Someone with strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for music education
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
A teacher who can inspire confidence, creativity, and progress in their students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
