Duties as a Music Teacher:
Teach Music across Key Stages 3 and 4
Plan and deliver engaging, inspiring lessons
Prepare students for examinations and performance opportunities where appropriate
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
Encourage participation in extracurricular music activities
Contribute to the wider Performing Arts provision
Potentially undertake departmental leadership responsibilities for the right candidateIdeal Music Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching Music at secondary level
Strong subject knowledge and practical musicianship
Ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
Experience in curriculum leadership is desirable for candidates interested in the Head of Department opportunity
