An Independent school in Barnet requires a talented Music Teacher, starting ASAP for a temporary, full-time position. You will deliver inspiring music lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4. We are looking for a dedicated Music Teacher to join our team immediately.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Music Teacher lessons, focusing on performance, composition, and music theory.


• Prepare students for upcoming assessments and performances.


• Develop students' musical skills and appreciation.


• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.


• Contribute to the development of the music curriculum and resources.


• Organise and potentially lead music-related extracurricular activities.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Music.


• Proven experience in teaching music at secondary level.


• Strong musical skills and knowledge of music theory.


• Excellent communication and organisational skills.


• Ability to engage and motivate students.


• Availability to start ASAP.
