A forward-thinking Independent academy in Brent seeks a dedicated Music Teacher to inspire students in their musical journey. This permanent, full-time position commences in September, providing the opportunity for a passionate Music Teacher to guide students through complex musical concepts up to GCSE level. We are looking for a skilled Music Teacher to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering students' musical understanding and performance skills.


• Guide students through GCSE coursework, ensuring their success in musical analysis and performance.


• Utilise a variety of musical instruments and recording technologies.


• Contribute to the development and enhancement of the Music curriculum.


• Lead extracurricular activities such as music ensembles and concerts. We want a Music Teacher with these abilities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Music or a related field.


• PGCE or QTS.


• Proven experience teaching Music at the secondary level. We need an experienced Music Teacher for this role.
