This full-time, permanent position commences in September and presents an exceptional opportunity for an individual who possesses a passion for music education and a commitment to fostering musical talent in young learners.

The Position

As a Music Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive music instruction to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will play an integral role in nurturing students' musical abilities, encouraging creativity, and instilling a lifelong love of music.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver innovative lesson plans that align with the national curriculum and cater to diverse learning styles.


• Assess student progress through a variety of formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their musical development.


• Create a vibrant and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and celebrates musical achievement.


• Lead and direct school ensembles, such as choirs, bands, or orchestras.


• Contribute to the school's extracurricular music program and support school performances and events.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Music or a related field.


• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.


• Demonstrated experience teaching music at the secondary level.


• A strong understanding of music theory, history, and performance practices.


• Proficiency in a variety of musical instruments and genres.
