This full-time, permanent position commences in September and presents an exceptional opportunity for an individual with a genuine enthusiasm for music education.

The Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive and engaging music curriculum to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. The role will involve planning and delivering inspiring lessons, fostering a love of music, and nurturing students' musical talents.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver creative and stimulating music lessons aligned with the national curriculum and the school's educational ethos.


• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their musical development.


• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and celebrates student achievements.


• Contribute to the school's vibrant music program by leading ensembles, organizing performances, and participating in extracurricular activities.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor's degree in Music or a related field.


• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.


• Demonstrated experience teaching Music at the secondary level.


• A strong understanding of music theory, history, and performance practices.


• Proficiency in a range of musical instruments and genres.
