About the Role:

As a Music Teacher, your key responsibilities will include:

• Teaching Music across Key Stages 3 and 4.


• Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons that cater to a range of student abilities.


• Assessing student progress, setting targets, and providing constructive feedback.


• Contributing to the development of the Music Department’s curriculum and resources.


• Directing and producing school productions.


• Creating a stimulating and supportive learning environment.


• Collaborating with colleagues both within the Music Department and across the school.


• Engaging in professional development opportunities to further enhance your teaching skills.

Experience and Qualifications:

• A Music-related Degree.


• QTS or PGCE.


• Experience as a Music Teacher (ECTs welcome).

Salary:
The salary for this Music Teacher position will be paid to scale MPS/UPS.
