Position Overview:

The successful candidate will be instrumental in delivering a comprehensive and engaging music education to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will inspire creativity, nurture talent, and instill a lifelong appreciation for music through dynamic and innovative teaching practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver inspiring music lessons that align with the national curriculum and cater to a range of musical abilities.


• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and celebrates student achievement.


• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their musical development.


• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the music program, including extracurricular activities and performances.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A Bachelor's degree in Music or a related field.


• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.


• Demonstrated experience teaching Music at the secondary level.


• Proficiency in a variety of musical instruments and genres.
