Music Teacher - Full-Time Permanent Position - Merton, South London

This full-time, permanent position offers a unique opportunity to inspire and nurture the musical talents of students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.

About the Role:

As a Music Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a love of music within the student body. Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and delivering engaging and inspiring music lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students.


• Developing and implementing innovative lesson plans aligned with the school's curriculum and assessment objectives.


• Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback to support their musical development.


• Collaborating with colleagues within the Music department and across the wider school community to enrich the musical experiences of students.


• Contributing to the vibrant extracurricular music program, including ensembles, concerts, and productions.

Qualifications and Experience:

The successful candidate will possess:

• A degree in Music or a related discipline.


• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.


• A proven track record of successful music teaching experience at the secondary level.


• A passion for music education and a commitment to fostering musical excellence in young people.
